- 09/24/2008 : Welcome to the Writing Center Appointment Schedule! Hours are Monday - Thursday 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Sunday (online writing center): 4 p.m.-8 p.m. Drop-in hours are Monday - Thursday 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. only. All other hours are by appointment only.
To Schedule an Appointment:
- If you are a first-time user, please register for a log-in name and password by clicking on the link in the gray box. Once you are registered, you will be directed back to the log-in page.
- After you have logged in, you can view each Writing Consultant’s schedule for the current week and following weeks. Available times are indicated by the color noted in the key.
- To sign up for a time, click on that box and fill in the required information in the pop up box. A reminder of your appointment time will be sent to the email address you provided.
- Please make your appointment at least 1 hour prior to the appointment time. Please do not sign up for more than 1 hour per day or all your appointments will be expunged from the schedule.
- Appointments, including hour-long appointments, will be held for 10 minutes only; after 10 minutes, the client is considered a no-show. If you miss an appointment and have not called, you do not get that time later in the day.
- If a student misses 2 or more appointments without calling, he/she will no longer be able to schedule appointments through our online system for the remainder of the quarter.
- We strongly recommend face-to-face appointments. All phone appointment requests must be directly approved by the Teaching and Learning Center at least 24 hours in advance.
